BEES ARE ECOLOGICAL SUPERHEROS.

Bees are tireless pollinators of trees, plants, flowers, vegetables and fruits.

Not only are they essential to the health of our eco-system; they are vital to the world’s agricultural economy.

One third of the UK’s food is pollinated by bees.

They pollinate our vegetables: no more bees = no more broccoli.

They pollinate our fruit: we've got them to thank for our strawberries.

But more than that,

they’re the barometer of the environment.

To the bee, a flower is a fountain of life. And to the flower, a bee is a messenger of love. And to both, bee and flower, the giving and the receiving is a need and an ecstasy.

So...

HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN DO.

HIRE (OR ADOPT) A HIVE (OR TWO)

We’ll do a recce on your garden or allotment, then set up and manage your hive. All you have to do is watch and hear the bees, enjoy the honey, show your friends and feel good!

You can also dedicate a hive as a wedding, naming or birthday gift or in commemoration.

And...HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL GET

Well, quite a lot actually.

  • An immediate environmental impact (your hive can be doing good within days whereas an elm sapling can take five to ten years before it has a similar impact on the environment)
  • Great environmental and general interest stories for Facebook, blogs and twitter
  • The benefit of a complete, all-in managed service
  • The satisfaction of being an early adopter
  • Green nous and kudos in the eyes of your friends, colleagues and community
  • 24 jars of honey per annum from each hive you adopt

It’s a no brainer. Find out more by clicking on the link below or make a beeline to your phone or your keypad and call us on 01698 580 572 or send us an email at [email protected].

HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN DO.

DUST OFF YOUR ADDRESS BOOK

If you sympathise with this ecological plight, but are hesitant about adopting a hive single-handedly, enlist other conscientious folks in your community to split the cost and share the satisfaction.

We’re easy about the term ‘community,’ whether you’re a neat cluster of individuals in a rural idyll, or a smattering of friends across a city, you can get involved with our community package.

PICK YOUR LOCATION

Together you’d need to explore the possibilities of where to situate the hive, whether that be on a plot of common land, or whoever’s garden is the most suitable.

SPLIT THE COST; ENJOY THE BENEFITS

You can hire or ‘adopt’ as many hives as the numbers allow. Please call or contact for quote.

And...HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL GET

A healthy bundle.

  • An immediate environmental impact (your hive can be doing good within days, whereas an elm sapling can take five to ten years before it has a similar impact on the environment).
  • Interesting stories for family and friends, or the local bulletin!
  • An environmental focal point that expresses the community’s green ethics.
  • The benefit of a complete, all-in managed service.
  • The satisfaction of being an early adopter.
  • 24 jars of honey per annum from each hive you adopt, which can be sold at local farmers’ markets or eaten to toast the success of your new hives.
